Hola,
We are
leading life like anyone else...pretty normal really, as
usual we have much to do and very little time to do
it. The days go so fast and sometimes we feel that
we have not accomplished much since we dedicate and do a
little here and a little there... but the Lord is ALWAYS
faithful.
We
finally got our church's name on the bus (on all four
sides), this will help to better identify us and this
makes us so very proud. We did some minor repair jobs so
that you find it in optimal conditions when we camp in
December.
The
clinic construction continues ahead, as you can see we
have advanced quite a bit since your last visit. We are
now just a few days away from finalizing the set up of
the base for the second level of the clinic. Thanks to
the Lord we have not stopped, sometimes it has been slow
but we have continued pushing forward.
We are
also anxiously awaiting for the second mission's team
from Woodland Hills Church. During the last weeks we
have seen an increase in membership on all the projects,
which motivates and pushes us to better prepare since we
can already see that we will have a large group in
attendance. As a result we also have seen an increase of
attendance and commitment and learning which is our main
purpose... we want them to be motivated to learn and
grow more and thus come to understand the passionate way
in which Christ loves them.
We
"officially" named Melvin
Perez
as the Project Coordinator, so if you have any
questions or suggestions please contact him. Our last
count gave us a number of 65 children (San Pedro Sula:
16, Campana, Casa Azul and Las Urupas: 45) Pray for
them...the Lord has amazing plans for their lives...we
are sure of this.
Sadly, we also have
bad news, we have been taken by thieves again... this
time we found out earlier so we prevented a larger theft
but they got away with most of our sound equipment and
musical instruments. It was an inside-job, so we have
entered legal action with the Security Agency since
there is proven neglect and failure from one of their
employees. Please pray that we can recuperate what was
lost or have it replaced.
Please
continue to pray for us and for the Lord to continue to
move in our church and also in our country. We want to
be used for His Glory and to continue to live for Him
alone.
Our
country is still is much economic and social upheaval,
but we trust our Lord to protect and lead us in safety.
Finally, we beseech
your prayers and intercession for each person in our
congregation and for the Lord's vision to continue alive
in our hearts. We want to do His Will and reach out to
those that are still away from Him, but we must act and
live as one.
Until next time, in
the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
Samuel Perez, Sr.
Pastor
