Hola!

From May 13 - 22, 2004, our team will be working side-by-side with Pastors Samuel & Thelma Perez, Honduran medical personnel and Restoration Church's volunteers to provide a full week of free medical care in San Pedro Sula. At the same time, part or our team will be also sharing the gospel with the adults and the children. We are certain that we must capture this awesome opportunity to share our faith and love with the Hondurans and to offer our skills in the medical, building and outreach areas.

It will be challenging to leave our comfort zone but we encourage you to let go of your fears, apprehensions and to give-in the calling to serve. God has shown His love for us and he has given us so many blessings so how about we share some of those together.

Please pray seeking what is God's plan for you and join us in 2004!!!

Each one of us will be responsible to be prepared to share our own life experiences as believers and also be open to work in a flexible, changing and culturally diverse environment. Depending on skills and heart's leading, we will be placed in work teams that have a specific task or goal, medical care, education, children, outreach, construction, etc.

Before departure we also have much to prepare logistically. During the next months we will be purchasing supplies, shipping of a container with donations and supplies, reserving plane tickets, creating itineraries, and other practical tasks. Our teams have developed the reputation of being well prepared both here and in Honduras and we hope to continue improving on this area.

Team Leaders:

Nancy & Preston (a husband and wife team) both are strong believers on following the call that God has placed in their hearts and Nancy's Honduran experience (native Honduran) it's invaluable to help understand and prepare our teams to work and serve within sound cultural, spiritual and physical boundaries and knowledge.

Follow-up:

Follow-up will be coordinated by Restoration Church, our host church in Honduras. We believe on providing support and encouragement to local ministries that are already involved in the community and our aim is always to help them out on their needs and not imposing our American View as to how things should be done. We are privileged to be their servants and our hope and prayer is that our teams become a source of blessing and strength for the local church.
