Restoration
church in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, has become an
active part of our efforts to serve and interact
with the Honduran people during the last four
years.
Together we manage and find opportunities
to serve while we promote and raise awareness,
volunteers and financial support for health,
education and mentoring projects in Honduras.
In
1995 Pastor Samuel and Thelma Perez, their
family and a few families, received a vision
for a church that would be a safe place for those
hurt by traditional religion and also a place
where the Holy Spirit would be the guide to a
Christ-like lifestyle.
Restoration
Church is a small church, about 300 committed members but
their reach has been felt in San Pedro Sula and
it's neighboring communities.
The
Lord has blessed them with many opportunities to serve
and also has blessed them with people that share
their vision.
In 1999 they established their
first daughter church in Campana, Cortes. It now counts with forty,
strong and committed Christians
that continue strive to live according to the
Bible and its principles, by faith and love with one
another.
In the last six
years, Restoration Church has reached with the
gospel but also has helped people with their
physical needs.
They feed, clothe and educate many
and along with all of these services, they share
how the Lord has changed them as individuals and how His Word has
encouraged and empowered them to love all for
the sake of the One that has called them.
